:You know perfectly well that a Certificate in Polish as a foreign language opens up many opportunities related to living and working in Poland, but also in other European Union countries.
Currently, there are 2 exams in Poland, the Certificates of which allow you to apply for a Long-Term Residency Card in EU countries.
A resident is a person who has the right to reside and work in Poland legally. They can also move around the Schengen area for no longer than 90 days in 180 days. They also have the opportunity to work in some European Union countries under the conditions specified in the regulations of a given country.
The Residency Card is issued for an indefinite period, although the card itself should be replaced once every five years.
Certificates confirming knowledge of the Polish language, required to grant a long-term EU resident permit (Long-Term Residency Card) are:
1/ Certificate of the STATE EXAMINATION OF POLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE at B1 level
2/ Certificate of the DUAL EXAMINATION TELC B1/B2
What is the State Certificate in Polish language?
The State Certificate is the result of a positive result obtained during the State Examination conducted by the Polish State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language through local Examination Centres. These exams are conducted 4 times a year, in accordance with the dates set by the State Commission.
The exam is held separately at each level: A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2.
What is the TELC Certificate in Polish?
The TELC Certificate (The European Language Certificates) is an international document certifying knowledge of 10 European languages, including Polish. The organiser of the exams is TELC GmbH based in Frankfurt. All exams are conducted in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The exam is conducted by local Examination Centres, and the exam dates are set independently by each Centre.
The TELC exam is a dual exam, which means that depending on the exam result, the candidate receives a certificate at level B1 or B2.
We kindly inform you that the Polish Language School KLUB DIALOGU has the authority to conduct the State Examination for the B1 Certificate and the Dual TELC Examination for the B1/B2 Certificate.
