💢 FREE EVENT for Students – ⌚Not only Chopin. Famous Poles Abroad

On February 20, 2026, KLUB DIALOGU School welcomed its students to another inspiring workshop.

The greatest enjoyment for the participants came from discovering fascinating stories and extraordinary life paths of famous Poles who achieved success on the international stage — and there are truly many of them!

Among the figures discussed were:
✨ Max Factor (Maksymilian Faktorowicz) – founder of the world-famous cosmetics brand, inventor of the cosmetic tube, and the creator of the term make-up
✨ Tamara Łempicka – an Art Deco painter and a favorite portraitist of Hollywood
✨ Joseph Conrad (Józef Korzeniowski) – renowned writer and author of Lord Jim
✨ Antoni Patek – creator of one of the world’s first wristwatches and a pioneer of industrial watch production
✨ …and many, many others

The workshop also featured quizzes and lively discussions. Students debated whether it is possible to become famous quickly and whether fame is always worth pursuing. They also reflected on whether we still know people today whose careers could be described as “from rags to riches.”
